Memory Walk is the Association's national signature event and the largest national fund-raising event for Alzheimer's disease. More than just for fund-raising, Memory Walk is designed to raise awareness about the disease. Each year in the fall, millions of people participate in Memory Walk in more than 600 communities throughout the country.

Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised more than $225 million. Money raised as part of Memory Walk supports programs and services to help people and families living with Alzheimer's disease.

The Chapter holds four Memory Walks. Special guests include:

  • National spokesperson and Emmy Award-winning actress Jean Smart of Designing Women and 24
  • Debbie Macomber, New York Times best selling author
  • Ken Alhadeff, leading Seattle philanthropist

To start a team, donate or register for a walk near you, please visit our Memory Walk web page or call (800) 848-7097.
