Alzheimer's Association Event Calendar

The Western and Central Washington State Chapter sponsors or participates in a variety of events and activities held in our region. Workshops for family caregivers and professional caregivers are offered monthly, as well as special events such as Alzheimer’s research forums, awareness and fundraising events. Upcoming Events

September 20. Two special workshops for clergy, parish nurses and the faith community. Trainings to be given by nationally known trainer Teepa Snow. Lynnwood.

September 21. Training for caregivers on dementia and challenging behaviors. Three CEUs and certificate offered. Session to be led by Chapter Training Specialist Roger Holbrook, LPN. Bellingham.

October 4. Alzheimer’s Public Forum. Keynote speaker Dr. Laura Baker of the VA Memory Wellness Program. Information about dementia, treatments, research and prevention. To be held at the SW Washington Medical Center in Vancouver.
