Alzheimer's Association Annual Meeting held at the Seattle Repertory Theater
Cheryl West, playwright, has written a moving play about a wife and her husband who are struggling with Alzheimer’s. The play is provocative and thought provoking with an ending that may startle some. The Seattle Repertory Theater and the Alzheimer’s Association, Western and Central Washington State Chapter, have joined forces to present Birdie Blue to you this fall. Co-chaired by Ken Alhadeff and Jean Smart, the Chapter will hold its 22nd Annual Meeting on November 14, 2007, during a cocktail/hors d’oeuvres reception, followed by a showing of the play Birdie Blue. The event will be a joint fundraiser for the Seattle Rep and the Alzheimer’s Association, and board members from both organizations agree that this will be a unique and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Tickets to the tiered event will be for sale later this fall in the following categories: VIP cocktail reception and pre-screening discussion, followed by the play, $150; cocktail reception, discussion and play, $75; Play only, $35. We hope that you’ll join us for this special Annual Meeting. Please R.S.V.P. by November 9 to Tamara Disibio at Tamara.Disibio@alz.org or phone (206) 363-5500 to charge by phone.
