Virtual Tradeshow Floor Plan
by Connie Parsons, Marketing Director
Caresource has developed a web-based feature you can add to your website to make trade shows easier for the planner and the exhibitor. A virtual tradeshow floor plan, conveniently located on your website, will: - reduce management time
- enable exhibitors to pick their own booth space
- provide a place for attendees to review who is exhibiting and where they are located
- give exhibitors an additional forum for presenting themselves to attendees
The virtual tradeshow floor plan is created based on the floor plan of your actual tradeshow venue. It is converted to a web page for which the following features are added: - Booths are color coded for "available" or "occupied."
- If a booth is available, it can be reserved by an exhibitor via a simple registration form.
- After receiving a registration, the association contacts the exhibitor for payment, or payment can be taken online by credit card or PayPal.
- When visitors mouse over an occupied booth, a pop-up box provides the name of the exhibitor.
- An HTML link in the pop-up box for an occupied booth can be clicked on for detailed exhibitor information, including contact information and a link to their website.
- Exhibitor information can be easily uploaded into the floor plan by the manager at the association.
- The virtual trade show floor plan is also available for download as a PDF.
- The exhibitor registration form can also be downloaded as a PDF for those who prefer to register offline.
You do not have to be a Caresource web client to use this new feature. It will be available as a plug-in to your current site. If you would like to develop a tradeshow floor plan for an upcoming event, please contact Caresource at service@caresource.com.
