
Update Your Online Database Instantly

If you manage any type of online database, you are familiar with the difficulty involved with keeping this database as current as possible. Caresource has recently developed a tool to simplify this process: an online method for updating your member or other database. The database can be updated by an administrator at your organization or by individual database members. All functions are easy to perform, and can be done by anyone with Internet access. For updates by individuals: - each individual is assigned a unique password
- after signing in, the individual sees his or her contact information exactly as it appears in the database
- the individual makes any necessary changes to their information via an easy-to-use form
- the information is automatically updated to the online database
Similarly, the database can be managed by an administrator at your organization. Via access through a secure login, the association is able to: - search the database by different criteria (e.g., company, contact, city, type, etc.)
- update database member information, including the automatically generated password
- add a new member
- view custom reports, which will pull contact information by different criteria into an Excel file for offline use (e.g., member contact information by member type; all members with all information)
The online database can be used for a member directory, a resource directory, or any other collection of names and contact information you would like to have on your website.
