Healthy Aging Briefing Participants - Register Today for the Aging in America Conference

If you have participated in one of our NCOA/IlluminAge Healthy Aging Briefings, then you won’t want to miss the 2008 NCOA-ASA Aging in America conference on March 26-30 in Washington, D.C.  The Aging in America conference brings together a diverse community of more than 4,000 professionals from the fields of aging, healthcare, and education.

Four days of intense programming begins with Capitol Hill Day on March 26, where you have the opportunity to meet with key influencers and have your voice heard.  Senior center professionals may also choose to attend the preconference intensive Cutting Edge Strategies for Senior Centers: A Coming of Age Program where you’ll learn best practices from leading experts Rennie Cohen and Jean Williams on effective strategies to meet the changing needs of the emerging 50+ population.

Attend a special March 27 opening session sponsored by CVS/Pharmacy with keynote speaker Dr. Maya Angelou as she shares her unique views on life and aging.

Focus on timely topics facing professionals in the field of aging on March 27 and March 28 during the Critical Issues in Aging (CIA) sessions.  CIA sessions include Seniors in Poverty: A Daily Struggle — Addressing the Chronic Care Challenge Through Collaborative Care; Seizing Business Opportunities with the NEXT Workforce; and Igniting Change in the Connected Age.

Be sure to stop by our booth #314 and register for a HABS giveaway, learn about upcoming series sessions and share your ideas on future online professional development topics.
