Tour the New Mid-Atlantic Care Manager Website

IlluminAge is excited to announce the new website for the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Association of the Professional Geriatric Care Managers (NAPGCM). The Chapter had three primary goals for their website redesign project:

  1. Enhance the appeal of the website for all visitors;
  2. Improve functions for members;
  3. Optimize for successful search.

IlluminAge worked closely with the Chapter’s website committee to develop a site plan and online strategy that addressed the needs of its audience of members, families and older adults, and referral sources. The site clearly guides members to chapter news & events and their private members only section. The site helps consumers and referral sources by providing information on the benefits of working with a professional care manager and easily accessed resources and links.

"The IlluminAge staff is very professional. They are experienced in designing websites for the mature market of clients and families that we, as care managers, serve. This experience enabled them to make recommendations throughout our redesign process which will enhance the value of our website for members, consumers and referral sources. We have appreciated their work so far, and are looking forward to enjoying the benefits of our new website and our ongoing relationship!"

–Regina Curran, President, Mid-Atlantic Profesional Geriatic Care Managers, Inc.

The site features a service locator with radius search function that helps families, caregivers, and referral sources find care management services. This enhances the site’s value for members, as well, because it guides consumers to their services.

For members, the site will be maintained as a dynamic Chapter communication tool through a combination of easy-to-use content management tools and ongoing support from the IlluminAge team. In any organization, but especially those that depend on the volunteer hours of its members, it is important to develop a balance between tasks that are more easily accomplished internally or through external services.

IlluminAge also partners with the New York, Western, and Florida Chapters of the NAPGCM on their websites, as well as supporting individual care managers nationally. Through this focus on the needs of care managers, which is a part of our larger commitment to serving organizations in aging and health care services, we are able to develop solutions that best meet the needs of this group of professionals.
