"Aging In Stride" Presented to Gerontological Society of America

On November 16 through November 22, Dennis Kenny and I attended the Gerontological Society of America Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, with an exhibit for Aging in Stride. During the conference we presented this valuable resource to the members and attendees in an effort to promote the book throughout the continuum of the senior community from gerontology professors, to executive directors of senior centers, all the way to individuals and their families who are currently "aging in stride" themselves.

During our time in Washington we had the opportunity to meet with some of the wonderful people at organizations with whom we to work, including the National Association for State Units on Aging, the National Citizen's Coalition for Nursing Home Reform, the National Council on the Aging, the SPRY Foundation, the American Seniors Housing Association, and the American Health Care Association. We appreciated this opportunity to further keep in touch with the aging community. Thank you all for giving us the opportunity to spend some time with you during our visit.
