Staff Spotlight on Lauren Bird, Occupational Therapist

Lauren Bird was born in Somerville, New Jersey and grew up in Washington Township in North New Jersey.

She attended Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. During her college days she met a nice young man whom she is still dating. She is waiting for a future proposal!

The love of her life and friends from college persuaded her to move to Maryland. Lauren’s parents retired and moved to Florida and her sister lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and son. Lauren spends her free time with her boyfriend and friends. Together they enjoy going out to dinner, visiting museums, going to the zoo, sightseeing in New York City, traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors.

Lauren loves her job and enjoys the residents' stories. In the past, Lauren worked with school kids, at a Towson Rehab center, and now her favorite job is working for Sundance. Thank you, Lauren, for all that you do!
