
Resident Spotlight on Dr. Marcus Moore
 | Marcus Moore grew up in Bel Air, MD, with his two siblings. He went to Howard University in Washington D.C, where he studied to become a thoracic surgeon. Dr. Moore was one of the first African American thoracic surgeons in the state of Maryland. He had his own private practice in Baltimore and also had operating privileges at all the major hospitals in the Baltimore area, including Provident Hospital and Johns Hopkins. Dr. Moore and his wife Doris had two sons and a daughter. He enjoys playing the piano—which he taught himself—and photography. |
