Marie Filbert was born and raised with her three brothers in Baltimore, MD. She married Alvin Filbert in 1948, and they have three children, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Alvin worked at Bethelehem Steel, while Marie worked as a secretary at the Daily Record and Glenn L. Martins. Some of Marie’s hobbies include baking, crocheting, and sewing (she made all of her daughter’s clothing). Marie likes to “do it all,” which includes going out, reading, playing a game of bingo or cards, and having a good time with her family.
