Resident Spotlight on Sophie Gizinski

Sophie Gizinski was born and raised in Fells Point, Baltimore. She has one sister. After graduating from high school, she went to Clara Barton Vocational School for sewing, and then worked at Hopkins for Medicare Billing. She married Raymond in 1950, and they were married for 28 years. They have two children: Robert and Carol.

Sophie’s many hobbies include crocheting and reading, and she was once an avid dancer. In fact, one of Sophie’s dance partners in the past was Al Buecker, who performs at our Birthday Party every month!
