Resident Spotlight on Natividad Delgado
Natividad Delgado was born and raised in Corozal, Puerto Rico, with her ten siblings. Unfortunately, her mother passed away at a young age, so Natividad helped raise her brothers and sisters. She fell in love with a young man name Felix at the button factory where she worked. He was one of the managers. Natividad married Felix and they moved to Manhattan, New York in the late 50s for better work opportunities. Natividad was a housewife who raised five gorgeous, college-educated girls: Lisa, Teri, Marissa, Jeanette and Carol. Natividad now has 10 grandchildren and she is also expecting her first great-grandchild. She loves her family, dancing, music, church, and reading gossip magazines. Natividad’s life long motto is “you reap what you sow.”
