John Wieneke was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, with his two brothers and one sister. He married his wife June in 1942, and they have been married for 66 years. John went to work for C&P Telephone Company for 42 years, and in 26 years of working there, he never missed a day! They both enjoy traveling; he enjoyed bowling, while she enjoyed roller skating. They love children, and were greatly involved in their church, as John was the Sunday School Superintendent at Upper Crossroads Baptist Church. John’s many hobbies include woodworking (he made all the cupboards in their home) and coin collecting.
