Brainstorming

The state partnership is designed to make membership to the national association more accessible and affordable to individual day centers, while strengthening the relationship between state associations and NADSA. The partnership provides a substantial discount for NADSA membership.  State Association dues with the "state partnership" are $300.  Each joining center then pays $75 per year for their NADSA membership regardless of size, revenue, or number of sites. If a State is not part of the partnership, the NADSA membership cost for Centers in their state is based upon the Center's revenue. Each Center is billed individually, so there are no additional administrative costs for the State Association.

One of the newest benefits to NADSA members is the quarterly leadership calls. This has been a great vehicle for leaders to network with other state association leaders. Along with an association membership, state associations also receive a Tool Kit on CD. The Tool Kit includes sample documents from other organizations to help organize, manage and market your state association. A partial list of items in the Tool Kit includes:

  • Association job descriptions
  • Bylaws
  • Membership applications
  • Membership brochures and other sample association marketing resources
  • Conference brochure and program
  • Order forms of products sold by other associations
  • Action Alerts related to legislation and public policy

Make sure your state association joins to take advantage of these tools to help strengthen and grow your association. To learn how your state association can become a State Association Partner, contact Rachel Painting at info@nadsa.org!
