Free Health Materials Available

The National Adult Day Services Association is joining the National Institute on Aging (NIA) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to let people know about free health information for older adults and caregivers.

NIA CatalogAre you looking for free health materials for and about older adults? The National Institute on Aging (NIA) has over 40 Age Pages that provide background information in an easy-to-read format on different health subjects like blood pressure, skin care, and diabetes. All the information presented by NIA is based on current scientific research about aging and health.

You can order single or bulk copies of Age Pages or other free NIA publications—many available in Spanish—by calling toll-free 800-222-2225 or going online to the NIA website. And, because NIA is part of the NIH at the Department of Health and Human Services, you can be confident that all of these materials are based on the most current scientific research. Click here to see a list of NIA’s publications and to find an order form.

You can also stay up-to-date on the latest aging news, announcements, and NIA publications, by subscribing to the Institute’s e-mail alerts

Working with NIA, we can make a difference in the health knowledge of our participants, their family members and adult day services staff.
