Welcome to the NCCA News!

A poem by Raymond Carver

And did you get what
You wanted from this life,
Even so?
I did.
And what did you want?
To call myself beloved,
To feel myself beloved
On this earth.

NORTHWEST CENTER FOR CREATIVE AGING (NCCA) promotes, enables and informs effort to generate possibilities for joy, connection, and community as transformative experiences in aging.

OUR PHILOSOPHY addresses the whole person – mind, body and spirit – with a range of programs committed to creative aging. We welcome all people.

OUR APPROACH includes:

  • Developing models for conversation and collaboration on creative aging;
  • Equipping/educating natural leaders in small group process facilitation;
  • Serving as a clearinghouse and resource center on topics and activities related to creative aging;
  • Linking people and programs through our web site and events.
