Traveling Library Brings Books, Opportunities

KCLS TLC
Seniors who can't come to the library can still receive full library services through the King County Library System's (KCLS) Traveling Library Center (TLC). Everything in the KCLS collection is available, including large print and audio books, music, video and DVDs, magazines and paperbacks. KCLS brings library materials to retirement centers and nursing homes on regular monthly schedules.

Through Words on Wheels (WOW), KCLS staff and more than 100 volunteers bring books, music, movies and a friendly face directly to homebound seniors. If you're interested in volunteering, the time commitment for Words on Wheels ranges from two to four hours each month.
