Sound Steps "Walk with the Mariners!”

Don't miss this chance to walk in one of Seattle's favorite sports venues! Safeco Field wants to support Sound Steps walkers with this fun kickoff to a healthy summer. Event includes a funwalk around the baseball field, music, prizes, health screenings and light refreshments—all free! Walkers and wheelchairs are welcome. Free parking is available in the stadium lot. Keep your eyes out for an appearance by the Mariner Moose mascot!

First Pacific Northwest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Forum on Aging

Location: School of Social Work, University of Washington Campus in Seattle
Workshops are targeted to both the community and to health and social service providers who work to meet the needs of and challenges facing the older LGBT community. Topics include elder abuse, caregiving, housing, mental health, legal issues, and much more! There is even a night of entertainment, “Celebrating Coming of Age with Humor and Song,” featuring Holly Near, Bob Smith, and Karen Williams.
