Depression and Mental Health

The website of the National Institute of Mental Health offers information about depression with a special section on depression in older adults.

The Geriatric Mental Health Foundation, established by the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry, provides online information and resources on mental health care for older adults. Their Consumer-Patient Information Resources include information on late-life depression, dementia (including Alzheimer's disease), caregiving and more. The site also includes a searchable directory of geriatric psychiatrists.

The Mayo Clinic Senior Health Center includes articles about aging and wellness, including information on depression

The U.S. Administration on Aging's Aging Internet Information Notes includes a section of resources and publications about depression and other mental health issues
