Honoring a Lifetime of Service

Barbara Gordon presents Irv Lipetz with an Honorary Advisory Council Membership

At the 2009 KIPDA Annual Board of Directors Luncheon, the Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living recognized Irv Lipetz for his many years of service. Mr. Lipetz has devoted his professional life and a large part of his private life as a volunteer/advocate for human services and particularly to older adults. Mr. Lipetz served for many years on KIPDA's Aging Advisory Council. On November 11, 2009, the Council voted to add an honorary membership category in recognition of lifelong service and commitment to older adults in our community.  Mr. Lipetz is the first recipient of this honor in great appreciation for his dedication to KIPDA and to those we serve.
