N4A Aging Business Academy

KIPDA staff recently attended the National Association for Area Agencies on Aging Business Academy in Oxford, Ohio at Miami University. The Aging Business Academy was supported by N4A, the Administration on Aging, and Scripps Gerontology Center at Miami University. KIPDA was one of ten Area Agencies on Aging from across the country selected to participate in the Business Academy, which provided participants with:

• two full days of learning business and strategic planning principles
  
  
• acquiring skills for re-tooling and re-energizing their agencies for future programming and service to their communities
  
  
• strategizing to implement specific projects to facilitate meeting the needs of their communities.

KIPDA staff participating were Evelyn Tinker, Molly Dobson and Barbara Gordon.
