The Louisville-Metro Regional Senior Games are scheduled for May 17 through May 21, 2005 on the University of Louisville Campus. Individual and team sports are offered separately for men and women in age divisions starting at 50. Registration is $5.00 for any and all events, and is open to everyone, not just residents of Louisville. Contact Clydeen Thompson, manager of Metro Parks Senior Services, at 574-2646 for more information.

Regional contestants can qualify to compete in the 2005-06 Kentucky Senior Games, scheduled for September 28 through October 1, 2005 in Lexington. Athletes and guests are welcome at all Senior Games this summer. Senior athletes who qualified at the Kentucky State Games in Pikeville last year can compete in the National Senior Olympics held this summer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Visit www.nsga.com for information about the "Senior Olympics."
