Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Attending a Major League baseball game for the first time can change your perception of the game itself. The crowd partaking in traditional baseball cheers, the fans dressed top to bottom in their team's colors and the singing of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" gets even first-timers hyped up for the big game! In July, Prosperity Partners sent a group of lottery winners to the Orioles - Red Sox game at Camden Yards. 

Everyone arrived at the stadium full of anticipation and made their way to our skybox suite in left field. The view of the players warming up was amazing and the air-conditioned, food and drink-filled room made the hot summer day cool and comfortable. 

Once the game got underway, everyone settled in and rooted for their favorite team. As our group was mostly Red Sox fans, the Orioles didn't get a lot of cheers! The biggest surprise was how comfortable the lottery winners felt in a group of fellow winners. Exchanging stories of "the moment" and theories on different lottery games created a terrific sense of camaraderie among our entire group. 

The Red Sox didn't put up much of a fight against the Orioles that Sunday, earning only two hits in the game. Regardless of the scorecard, everyone was thrilled with the day's experiences. There was quite a bit of talk about attending another game with friends and family in a suite just like that one.

Overall, everyone left Camden Yards that Sunday as friends who had an exciting day hanging out at the ballpark. It was such a pleasure to spend the afternoon with a great group of winners. Thanks to all for making the day possible and being exceptionally fun and friendly.
