Charges for forgery, meth possession and theft could be facing the Oregon woman who purchased a $1 million winning lottery card, police said. The credit card she purchased the ticket with allegedly belonged to a deceased relative. St. John found the ticket on Oct. 10, during his daily look through the silver garbage can inside the White Hen Pantry on Main Street. Another customer, who remains anonymous, later filed a claim with the Massachusetts Lottery Commission, saying he bought the Texas Hold 'Em Poker scratch ticket and mistakenly threw it away.
