January started a new year, February gave us new ways to show we care, March gave us madness, and that brings us to April showers! The precursor to spring has sprung. The winter blahs are giving way to a hopeful new spring. We just have to make it through the April showers! But what if we knew that the showers we endure in April would give us our May flowers? Or, said another way, what if we knew that whatever hardships we endured were simply preparing us for the next great opportunity?  Could it be true in every area of our life, that April showers bring May flowers? Maybe your showers don't come in April, but they will come sooner or later. Ride out the rain, until the flowers.

Tip: If you want to sound really smart this spring, refer to the spring equinox as the vernal equinox. You might also say that it is not April Showers but vernal showers that bring May flowers with help from the vernal sun, of course! (Vernal: of, relating to, or occurring in the spring.)
