The Sunny Days Ahead

Although I've heard the expression before, I never understood the meaning behind "April Showers Bring May Flowers." In summation, the expression means that unpleasant experiences bring about better things. Even in the worst situations, there is always an opportunity for something great. So let's talk about money.

We all want more money. It's a part of being a human being, and American. Today, you may want more money, more success or better return on an investment. It's raining.

Create something different make up a game. What do you want to accomplish? When do you want to accomplish it by? Work backwards from when you want to complete your goal today. Mark each step you need to accomplish the goal in two-week increments. Mark these smaller goals and the completion date of your game on a calendar that you use every day.

At the end of the three months, you may have accomplished every goal, and you might not have. What you did accomplish is getting somewhere else other than where you were unsatisfied. You were playing in the rain. And May always brings sunshine and flowers.

Tip: The best part about creating games in your life is not knowing how to play them.
