South Lake Union Block Party

Don't miss this year's South Lake Union Block Party. This is a great opportunity to meet and greet your neighbors, make new friends, and experience first hand some of what makes South Lake Union so exciting! You can groove at the music stage, visit with local artisans and admire their crafts, savor wonderful foods from area restaurants, celebrate in the beer and wine garden, entertain the kids, and do a whole lot more.

The Block Party will be held at Westlake and Denny Way, just west of the South Lake Union Discovery Center. The dates and times are: Friday, September 16, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, September 17, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This is another great neighborhood event sponsored by area organizations, including our SLUFAN Community Council Board.

The schedule of events for the main stage includes something for everyone: jazz, soul, rockabilly and blues. For a complete listing of scheduled performance times, check the SLUFAN web site.

We hope you'll attend - and we especially hope you'll stop by the SLUFAN Community Council and What's New in SLU booths!
