image

Youre invited to a two-way Mercer Street and lowered Aurora open house. Learn more about how a two-way Mercer and lowered Aurora affect:

  • Safety for pedestrians and drivers

  • Parks and open space (Seattle Center, Queen Anne Parks and South Lake Union Park)

  • Local and regional mobility for cars, pedestrians, bicycles, freight and transit

  • Your neighborhood

  • Alaskan Way Viaduct replacement construction impacts

The open house is Thursday, April 20, 2006, from 4:00-6:00 p.m., at the Best Western Executive Inn, 200 Taylor Avenue North (Taylor and John Street near the Seattle Center).

Grace Crunican, director of the Seattle Department of Transportation, and Seattle City Council Transportation Committee Chair Jan Drago will present and discuss two-way Mercer and lowered Aurora. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and share your views on the projects. Refreshments will be provided.

Sponsored by: The Queen Anne Community Council, Queen Anne Chamber of Commerce, Uptown Alliance, South Lake Union Friends and Neighbors Community Council (SLUFAN), Seattle Parks Foundation, Allied Arts, Cascadia Center for Regional Development and the Downtown Seattle Association
