Seattle Cancer Care Alliance: Working Together to Cure Cancer
What's New in SLU
Founded in 1998, the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance is your doorway to the best oncology care in the Pacific Northwest. Combining their knowledge of cancer, the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, UW Medicine, and Childrens Hospital and Regional Center work together to reduce the burden of a cancer diagnosis. Patients coming to the SCCA have access to the best of the best. Long recognized for their excellence in oncology research and care, the Hutchinson Center, UW Medicine and Childrens bring years of cancer treatment expertise and access to leading-edge treatments. For many cancer patients, treatment requires a hospital stay; for others an outpatient setting is appropriate. The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance facilities are designed to optimize the delivery of diagnostic, treatment and support services needed by all patients with cancer. Inpatient care for pediatric patients is provided at Childrens and adult patients are cared for at UW Medical Center. Comprehensive outpatient services for adults and pediatric cancer patients, including marrow and stem cell transplantation, are provided at the SCCA clinic.
