April 11, 2007 | 7-8:30 pm The Etiquette of Cancer: What are the Right Things to Do and Say? How do you comfort and encourage loved ones? In this session join Rev. Debra Jarvis, a pastoral care staff member and a former patient herself and Eric Hansen of the social work department, as they discuss how to assist, comfort and encourage loved ones. April 18, 2007 | 7-8:30 pm Survivorship: Now What? Surviving cancer can have ongoing physical and emotional effects. What does life after cancer look and feel like? Sometimes a cure is not the end of the struggle with cancer. Hear from former patients and Dr. Karen Syrjala, co-director of LIVESTRONG(tm) Survivorship Center, while they discuss the road through recovery.
