Contact Your Member of Congress to STOP More Cuts to Medicare
VHCA (8/7/2009)
America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 (H.R. 3200) contains a $44 billion ($1.057 billion or $29.45 ppd in Virginia) in cuts to skilled nursing care over 10 years that threaten quality and jeopardizes tens of thousands of care giver jobs. Cuts of this magnitude are simply unsustainable, and put the entire long term care profession at risk. AHCA/VHCA urges members to send a letter to your Virginia Congressman today, asking him to stop these proposed Medicare payments cuts to skilled nursing facilities within the House health care reform bill.
