Where Will Virginia's Leading LTC Professionals Be On September 14th?

They will be in Hampton, Virginia kicking off the 2009 Convention and Trade Show!

This year’s Convention, scheduled for September 14 - 17 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center, is an action-packed event filled with continuing education, product and services exhibitions, entertainment, networking and a chance to honor the outstanding individuals and organizations that define long term care in Virginia.  A special presentation by American Health Care Association President Bruce Yarwood will provide up-to-date information on the critical discussions and debates occurring in Washington.

We will kick off the fun with the Nurse Scholarship Golf Tournament.  The Commonwealth Long Term Care Foundation’s Regirer Nurse Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held at Riverfront Golf Club in Suffolk on Monday, September 14th.  Register to play at the Scholarship Tournament and help support the nurse scholarship program. If you are unable to play golf, please consider a sponsorship.  Help those who help the frail, elderly and disabled we serve.  Tournament registration forms and sponsorship opportunities are available on the VHCA website.

The Trade Show scheduled for September 15th has many new vendors exhibiting this year.  Members who wish to view a list of Trade Show vendors can do so by going to our website.  Every year we offer prizes galore.  Plan to walk the Trade Floor and possibly win cash – $100, $250, or $300!!  One lucky registrant will win a “Pamper Yourself” Basket - Gift Certificates to Macy’s, Nordstrom, Starbucks, and much more!  You must be present to win these prizes! 

In addition, a Nurse Scholarship Raffle winner will be selected during the Trade Show.  We have three great prizes: four tickets to the Virginia Tech vs. Boston College game on Saturday, October 10th at Lane Stadium/Worsham Field (compliments of Robert & Faith Rector), a Nintendo Wii (compliments of Andrew Byrd & Caton Merchant House, Manassas), or an Insignia High-Definition Blu-ray Disk DVD Player with HD Scape Ocean Aquarium (also compliments of Andrew Byrd & Caton Merchant House, Manassas).
