Apply Online To Serve on a Virginia Board or Commission

Governor McDonnell announced an online application process for those who would like to volunteer to serve on a Virginia Board or Commission.  The Governor will have about 4000 appointments to make in his four-year term and wants to make the application process available to all Virginians.

Governor McDonnell encourages citizens to seek avenues for services.  He stated, "Serving on a board or commission is a positive way to give back to the Commonwealth. I hope that Virginians from every region and background will consider the opportunity to serve their Commonwealth in this capacity and this new online system should greatly increase the number of applications and nominations we receive."
