VHCA Introduces a Quality Improvement Storyboard Competition
VHCA (8/27/2010)
This year VHCA’s Quality of Care Committee is sponsoring a Storyboard Project to showcase successful quality improvement initiatives in Virginia's facilities. Member facilities are invited to participate in this exciting event by constructing and displaying a storyboard describing a successful quality improvement project or initiative at the VHCA Annual Convention at the Hotel Roanoke September 20 - 23, 2010. This is an opportunity to share a best practice and be recognized for efforts to improve quality in your facility. - To participate simply construct a Quality Improvement Storyboard following guidelines established by the Committee,
- Register your entry ahead of time to allow VHCA to set aside adequate space for display tables (walk-ins will be accommodated as space allows), and
- Develop a one-page Project Summary of the success story depicted on your storyboard.
Forms should be submitted to Tammy Kelly by email or by fax to 540.473.1414 by September 10th. Questions? Contact a member of the VHCA's Storyboard Project Committee: Tammy Kelly Julie Bayly Valeria Thomas Wendy Walter
