AHCA is currently conducting the 2007 survey on direct care staff vacancy and turnover in nursing facilities. The survey will help inform and support staffing advocacy efforts as AHCA represents the entire long term care profession and educate Congress, the Administration and the public about our nation's nursing shortage.  The last survey was conducted in 2002 and played an important role in the efforts to generate interest in staffing shortages.

The 2007 Nursing Position Vacancy & Turnover survey questionnaire has been mailed to every nursing facility in the United States.  Please complete and return the surveys to AHCA by December 14, 2007.  Responses will be kept confidential. Results of this survey will be presented only in aggregate form.
