As previously announced, AHCA is currently conducting the 2007 survey on direct care staff vacancy and turnover in nursing facilities. The survey is critical to the entire profession's workforce advocacy efforts as we educate Congress, the Administration and the public about our nation's nursing shortage.  Your participation is needed to ensure the success of this report.

The 2007 Nursing Facility Direct Care Staff Vacancy & Turnover survey questionnaire has been mailed to every nursing facility in the United States.  If you haven’t yet done so, please complete and return the surveys to AHCA by Friday, January 25, 2008. Responses will be kept confidential. Results of this survey will be presented only in aggregate form; responses of a specific facility will not be disclosed.
