Governor Appoints VHCA/VCAL Member to Board

Governor Kaine has appointed Randy Scott, Administrator of St. Mary’s Woods, to serve on the Board of Long Term Care Administrators.  Licensed as a respiratory therapy practitioner and as a nursing home administrator, he has served as an assisted living administrator since 1989.  In 2006, he was honored by VCAL as Administrator of the Year in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the profession and to the Association.  The Board of Long Term Care Administrators licenses and regulates both nursing home and assisted living facility administrators.  Congratulations to Randy on his appointment.
