2008 Winter Legislative Conference Scheduled in February

This year's Annual Winter Legislative Conference has been scheduled for February 19-20 at the Omni Richmond Hotel.  Hotel reservations for the Omni can be made directly on-line. 

The Conference provides a unique opportunity for members to gather in Richmond to learn about legislative proposals being considered by the General Assembly and critical issues facing long term care providers today. The two-day conference will feature up-to-the-minute information on state and national policy issues with implications for nursing and assisted living facilities. Presenters will share their insights on state budget proposals, legislative initiatives, medical malpractice and provider liability during emergencies, the VHCA survey project and other topics with a focus on moving Virginia’s long term care agenda forward under the current administration.
