
Last call for 2008 Quality Award Examiners!

The AHCA/NCAL Quality Award program is looking for individuals with an interest in the application of systematic quality principals to the long term care environment, to serve as examiners of Step I applications for the 2008 award cycle. Key characteristics of a successful examiner include analytical reading skills, solid business writing skills, the ability to manage one's time and meet deadlines, and a desire to do good work. Benefits include nationwide recognition within the long term care profession, networking opportunities with other long term care quality professionals, and personal growth/training in the discipline of quality management. Applicants must be able to devote approximately twenty to thirty volunteer hours to examination duties between March 15 and June 30. Applications are due January 31, 2008.
