Nurse Leadership Program Scheduled in March

The Fundamentals of Nurse Leadership is a one-day program specifically designed for nurses in long term care.  It is scheduled for March 20th at the Holiday Inn - Select in Richmond. 

Today’s nurse leaders in long term care are challenged with competing priorities and a job that goes 24/7.  The exceptional nurse leader in long term care coordinates diverse job roles and expectations:  culture change and regulatory compliance, benchmarks and thresholds, turning data into meaningful information, designing systems that facilitate outcomes and merging high tech and high touch.  This one-day program demonstrates VHCA’s continuing commitment to meet the needs of nurse leaders. It is designed to stimulate discussion and prepare nurses for their important leadership role in the long term care environment.
