Recognizing Outstanding Achievements - Submit Your Awards Application Today
VHCA (4/25/2008)
Every year VHCA recognizes outstanding achievements of those who help make Virginia long term care facilities providers of quality care for the frail and elderly at the Annual Awards Banquet held during the Annual Convention in September. Please consider nominating those individuals you feel are worthy of this recognition. These awards are the highest honor that can be received by long term care professionals and volunteers in the Commonwealth of Virginia. In addition, the D. A. "Woody" Brown Community Involvement Awards Program recognizes VHCA/VCAL facilities that demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and creativity in a program that encourages and supports strong community relations. Facilities are encouraged to submit scrapbooks of text and illustrations which demonstrate successful facility-based programs. Go to "What's New" on the homepage of the VHCA website for more information on the Recognition Awards and the Woody Brown Awards.
