Submit Your Outstanding Achievements Awards Application by June 1st

Every year VHCA recognizes the “best of the best” at the VHCA Annual Awards Banquet held during the VHCA Convention in September.  We celebrate the outstanding achievements of administrators, nurses, volunteers and others who help make Virginia long term care facilities places of quality care for the frail and elderly. The deadline for the D. A. Woody Brown Community Involvement Awards and the Recognition Awards is June 1st.  The "Woody" awards include: Year Round Program; National Nursing Home Week or National Assisted Living Week; Special Event; and Newsletters.  The Recognition Awards include: James G. Dunton Distinguished Service Award; Administrators of the Year (NF and ALF); DON of the Year; CNA of the Year; and Volunteers of the Year. All entries must be postmarked by June 1, 2008.
