Reminder to ALF Administrators

If you are an administrator in a Virginia assisted living facility and are not yet licensed as a nursing home administrator or an assisted living administrator, it is important that you make arrangements to take the licensure exam to become licensed by January 2, 2009.  Current administrators who meet the necessary criteria are eligible to take the NAB assisted living exam without going through an AIT program.  However, if you meet the criteria and do not become licensed by the deadline you will have to meet certain educational requirements and also go through an AIT program.  Specific licensure information is available here.
