Important Reminder: Don't Forget to Submit Dominion Virginia Power Account Numbers

VHCA has met with representatives from Dominion Virginia Power to address the priority status of nursing facilities in case of power outages.  They have asked that we update our nursing facility listing by providing them with facilities’ Dominion Virginia Power account numbers, which will assist them in identifying the location of outages when they are notified about a loss of power and reference the facility’s account number.  This will enable them to more effectively verify that a facility is a priority.  Please email your account numbers to Doran Hutchinson along with facility contact name and phone number.  You can also fax your information to her at 804.353.3098. 

If you receive power from a source other than Dominion, please forward your power utility account number(s) to Doran Hutchinson as well so that we can forward those updated account numbers to your respective companies.  It is critical that you forward this information as soon as possible.  They originally requested receipt of the account numbers by Thursday, July 24, 2008.  However, we have extended this deadline to Wednesday, July 30th.
