DSS Advisory Committee To Meet

VCAL Focus (7-15-02)

The DSS Assisted Living Facility (ALF) Advisory Committee will meet on Wednesday, July 31, 2002 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Virginia Department of Social Services.  The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the ALF proposed regulations currently in the 60-day public comment period.  Guidance and direction provided by the committee will be considered by the Department in the development of final regulations.  VCAL members Tom May and Donna Rein will attend to represent the interests of the VCALs assisted living providers.  Interested members are welcome to attend as observers.  For information on the meeting contact Beverley Soble at 804/353-9101 ext. 103.
