APPLICATIONS SOUGHT FOR LONG TERM CARE NURSING SCHOLARSHIPS

The National Foundation for the Advancement of Elder and Disabled Care in America, an affiliate of NCAL, will award up to 20 scholarships of $500 each in 2004 to nursing students pursuing careers in long term care.  To be eligible, applicants must work for an AHCA/NCAL-member facility and be enrolled in an accredited LPN or RN nursing program for the 2004 - 2005 academic year. A candidate can obtain an application by sending their name and address to The Durante Nurse Scholarship Program, National Foundation for the Advancement of Elder and Disabled Care in America, 1201 L Street NW, Washington, DC 20005; or by downloading it from www.ahca.org/about/scholarship.htm.  Completed applications must be postmarked by June 14.
