Governor Kaine Approves ALF Administrator Licensure Regulations

Late last week Governor Kaine approved the Assisted Living Facility (ALF) Administrator licensure regulations sent to him following extensive public comment. Following publication in the Virginia Register the new regulations are scheduled to become effective on January 2, 2008.  Once implemented, individuals who currently serve as ALF administrators will have one year to become licensed.  We will notify you when the regulations are published in their final form.
